The Safaricom Stori Ibambe service began in 2015 up to date. Users get awarded a 100% bonus if they hit their daily airtime expenditure target. Since 2015, users would spend the bonus for SMS and call only. It was until 2018 that the use of the Storo Bonus for data bundles was introduced.
However, the data bundles you redeem from Storo Bonus also expires at midnight. Though it is a good move to increase user choices on what to spend their Storo Bonus on, as some prefer SMS, others calls or data bundles. If you would like to get data bundles by using your Storo Bonus balance on Safaricom, here are the steps to follow.

Method #1
*460# opens the Stori Ibambe menu, which has the option to convert your Storo Bonus to data bundles. To use this code;
- Go to your phone or dialer application
- Dial *460#
- Click on the call button to run the USSD code. This will bring forth a number of options
- Reply with 6 which is an option for Storo Data Bundle
- Proceed to buy the data bundle you would like using your Storo bonus balance.
Method #2
Running *460*6# will lead you directly to the Stori Ibambe menu in one tap. From there you can proceed with the process of getting your Storo data bundle by following the prompts, as in (1) above.

Method #3
Follow these steps:
- Go to phone or dialer
- Dial *544# then press on the call This will run the code to display a menu.
- In the menu, reply with 3; the option for Normal data bundle WITH EXPIRY
- Reply with 8 for MORE. This will lead you to the next menu
- Reply with 13, which reads Storo Data.
- Proceed to get your Storo data bundles
Using the above codes, you can be able to convert your Storo bonus into a data bundle.
