KCB Mtaani and ATM are part of the KCB Bank’s initiative to enhance its footprint in Kenya. KCB Mtaani and ATM serve to improve the accessibility of the bank’s services by its customers.
Furthermore, KCB Mtaani can be an avenue to get new KCB customers through the account opening services. Other KCB Mtaani services include school fees payment, rent payment, bill payment, balance inquiry, and mini statements. The ATM services, apart from cash withdrawal include cash deposit, cheque deposit, M-Pesa withdrawal and checking balance.
KCB Mtaani Agent withdrawal process
To withdraw cash at a KCB Mtaani agent:
- Visit a KCB Mtaani agent
- While there, go to your phone or dialer
- Dial *522# then press the call button to run the USSD code
- Select KCB MTAANI
- Initiate the transaction then give the agent your KCB smart card and National ID
- The agent will swipe your card
- You and the agent will be notified by SMS upon a successful withdrawal
- Enter your PIN on the POS machine to verify the transaction. The machine will generate a receipt.
- Receive the cash and sign the register.

The following are the charges for withdrawing via KCB Mtaani agent:
- KSh 100 -2,000 – KSh 20 will be charged
- KSh2,001–5,000 – KSh 32
- KSh 5,001-10,000 – KSh 53
- KSh 10,001 – 20,000 – KSh 75
- KSh 20,001- 50,000 – KSh 105
- KSh 50,001 – 100,000 – KSh 185
ATM withdrawal
You can withdraw up to KSh 50,000 per day via ATM. This can be done at the nearest KCB ATM which you can locate via the KCB app or website.
To withdraw:
- Insert your KCB smart card into the ATM machine
- Select your language
- Enter the ATM pin. Your account balance will be displayed.
- Select Cash withdrawal option
- Enter the amount you wish to withdraw.
- Pick your card and cash.
You will be charged KSh 33 for cash withdrawal of any amount.
