Safaricom enables its clients to enjoy high-speed internet access at the comfort of their homes. If you are one such client, then you are in the right place. Here is how to go about it.
Using USSD to pay for Safaricom Home Fibre
- Dial *400# on your phone
- Select Manage your subscription
- Select your preferred package (Fibre only or Fibre plus)
- Choose your account
- Make payments using M-Pesa
Using M-Pesa to pay for your Home fibre
- Go to M-pesa Menu
- Choose Paybill
- Enter M-pesa paybill number 150501 and key in your Safaricom Home Fibre account number under the account number section
- Key in the amount of money
- Enter your M-pesa PIN and press OK
- You will receive a confirmatory message

Using the Safaricom home app
- Download the Safaricom home app from the Play Store or App Store
- Set up the app by entering your phone number (the one you used to set up the account)
- The app will send a confirmation code to your phone number and automatically detect it
- The SIM card must be in your phone and you should be setting up the app using Mobile internet, not WiFi
- Once the app verifies your phone, You will be taken to an interface showing your current package, a button to change the plan or pay.
- Tap on pay. An interface for M-Pesa pin will pop up so that you can finish the payment
It is a simple process and you should have a problem completing the transaction. However, once in a while there may occur network delays. In case there isn’t a quick response you can contact Safaricom customer care by dialing 100.
Alternatively, if you still experience network hiccups, simply DM Safaricom in any of their official social media sites like Facebook, Twitter complete with your account details, bouquet package and the amount paid. You should get a quick response or troubleshooting of the problem.
