Waiting to find out if you or your child has been selected to join a favorable secondary school can be stressful. Luckily, technological advancements have made it possible to do it conveniently and quickly.

Checking Form One Selection via SMS

• Send an SMS with your Index Number or your child’s to 20042 from any network.
• Charges apply as per your service provider’s rates

Checking Form One Selection Online

• Go to the Ministry Of Education website education.go.ke
• Select the online service option and click on Form One selection
• Click on the school option that applies to you or your child depending on their performance. That is; National Schools, County Schools, or Extra County Schools.
• Select the county and sub-county you or your child sat for KCPE
• Key in your index number and Submit
• Click on the link named “admission letter” at the bottom of the page to access a copy of the admission letter
• Click on the printer icon to download the letter or print it
• Take it to the primary school attended to get it stamped
• Then proceed to present it to the respective secondary school together with a certified copy of the birth certificate
