Google has a limit on the number of Gmail accounts you can add to one phone.

I did not know this was the case until I found out myself.

It turns out you can add up to 5 Google Accounts on one Android phone.

How I Discovered The Maximum Number

I have two WhatsApp accounts, one for business and another for personal chats.

When reinstalling the WA Business app, I could not remember the Gmail account I used for backing up my chats.

So, when trying out different e-mail accounts, I noted that newly added accounts were not showing up under Settings>Users & accounts>Google.

I had already added 5 Google Accounts.

After I thought it was a Syncing problem or a poor internet connection, I tried again the following day.

I tried adding three more Gmail accounts, but they were not showing up.

By chance, I decided to remove one account before trying again. It worked!

After adding up to five Gmail accounts, you can only add another account after removing an existing account.
